Ex-designer who fell in love with infrastructure

Now I design systems that are secure by default, cost-optimised, and actually fun to maintain.

I started in design, but fell in love with the moment a UI actually stays online — secure, fast, and not burning through a budget. So I went all-in on cloud. Every project here was built from scratch on AWS with proper IAM least-privilege, cost guardrails, full documentation, and architecture diagrams. I treat every repo like a mini product: clean READMEs, clear structure, and security baked in from day one.Brisbane-based. Always down for a chat about cloud, systems design, or making infrastructure less intimidating.

IAM & Least-Privilege Playbooks

Secure EC2 Web Server

Multi-AZ Nginx cluster behind an ALB — housed in a custom VPC with public/private subnets, Auto Scaling Group (min 1/max 3), and EBS encryption. SSH is fully replaced by SSM Session Manager for secure, port-free access. Automated via a Boto3 Python script for status monitoring and CloudWatch/SNS for CPU-driven alerts.
